What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment and machinery
• Work on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and precision ag technology
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately complete work orders and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
• Support warehouse and shop upkeep as required
• Deliver top-tier customer service in all interactions

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical and technical aptitude (agriculture experience is an asset)
• Willingness to learn and use basic software applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Team player who can also work independently
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
• Valid Ontario driver’s license

Preferred Credentials:

• 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
• 310T or 410T License

Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Yard & Small Engine Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and performing basic mechanical work on small engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the equipment yard
• Receive, move, and stage equipment for sales and service departments
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment for customers and deliveries
• Perform basic inspection, setup, and maintenance on equipment
• Diagnose and repair small engines (lawn equipment, compact machines, etc.)
• Support the service department with general shop tasks as needed
• Ensure equipment is ready for display and delivery
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or experience with small engines
• Experience operating tractors, forklifts, or agricultural equipment is an asset
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
