Sales Representative
Job Description
This is an outstanding opportunity, whether you are experienced or entry level, to start a rewarding career selling Ag equipment. As an Ag sales representative, you will sell a large line of Ag equipment. You will be responsible for a sales goal on several projects simultaneously and have the opportunity to work independently toward personal goals while being part of a team. This is a high activity sales position that offers a pay structure unmatched in most sales jobs. Your opportunities for professional growth don’t end here we invest in ongoing training for tenured sales reps, provide opportunities to lead sales projects and promote our leaders from within.
Our ideal candidate must be a self-motivated overachiever with a strong desire to succeed. Our sales representatives come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from entry level, career changers and experienced sales reps. Success does not hinge on precise work experience, although knowledge of agricultural sales is a huge plus. Job Requirements:
- Prior sales experience, developing both new accounts and servicing existing accounts is preferred. However, entry level and non-sales experience is okay too!
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”)
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
- Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Highly disciplined, independent, entrepreneurial, confident, well organized self- starter
- Team oriented, adaptable, coach able, dependable, with a strong work ethic
Essential Duties, Responsibility, and Expectations:
- Initiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clients and documents sales efforts by appropriately using call logging system and/or CRM module
- Develop advertising leads for Ag sales by using a variety of lead sources
- Quote rate information, provide media kits and other relevant information to prospective clients

Parts Counter Clerk
Job Requirements:
- Experienced Customer Service representative
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift & pallet jack)
- Computer skills are a necessity. Willingness to learn basic software applications to operate internal CRM system, online parts look-ups and supplier extranet portals.
- Must be able to communicate fluently. Any additional languages are beneficial and would be considered an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to work extended hours ‘in season’ and provide additional relief coverage as required
- Mechanical and Technical aptitude and/or experience
- Must hold a valid Ontario driver's license
- Direct experience with agricultural equipment would also be considered an advantage

- Maintain clean, professional appearance at all times.
- Reliable and maintains excellent attendance and punctuality
- Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Able to self-motivate in a fast pace, multi-tasking environment
- Conduct general house keeping duties within facility and assist with warehouse maintenance as required
- Utilize Advantage Farm Equipment professional standards for Customer Service in all customer and vendor contacts
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Correctly create Sales Orders and generate Invoices for all parts dispensed and sold.
- Perform cycle counts as requested.
- Complete all duties assigned by Supervisor and/or manager
